I know I’m not the only one and this happens to me all the time. There’s days where I know that I literally have a million things to do and I don’t want to get out of bed. I’m tossing and turning, just trying to forget about everything that I have to do. So today I want to share with you guys 10 tips that I like to do on those lazy days to really get my energy going.

1. Dont charge your phone next to you bed.

Okay so this first tip and this one helps me so much is, don’t charge your phone next to your bed. If you charge your phone next to your bed, it will make you grab your phone and stay in bed so much longer. Charging your phone in your bathroom or your kitchen, your living room, wherever but some place where it is going to make you get out of bed so you can check your social media, your text, your email, whatever it is. This one helps so, so much it’s actually one of my favorites.

2. Make your bed.

The next one is make your bed. I know this seems kind of small but I promise you if you make your bed as soon as you wake up it just makes you feel more organized. And whenever you go into your room for something or you walk by your room, your bed will be nicely done so you won’t want to jump back into bed versus if your bed is unmade, it’s totally inviting to just jump back into bed for a few more hours or take a little nap.

3. Let in natural light.

Open your windows, open your doors and let all the natural light into your house. Natural light gives you so much energy. Your house being bright will give you so much energy.

5. Work in a space that is organized and free from clutter.

If you have any work to do from home find a space that’s nicely organized that’s free from clutter because this will not only help you think better but it would motivate you to work more.

6. Make a to-do list.

We have so much to do that it’s so overwhelming that we literally want to do nothing. So grab a notebook and write down your to-do list so you can actually see it and see everything you have to do. Then you start doing things one by one and start crossing them off; I promise you this helps and I do it all the time.

7. Play music

Next is play music that gives you energy and that makes you dance and makes you happy! This will give you a morning boost.

8. Wear an outfit (not pajamas)

Now I know PJs are super cozy. They’re warm, they’re comfortable, and we all love them. But if we’re having lazy – lazy days, it’s so important to get out of your PJs and put on a normal outfit because when we dress up and we look good we feel good and that motivates us to want to do things like run errands to maybe go for a walk whatever. Just by being out of PJ’s gives you more energy and more motivation.

9. Take a shower first thing

This one is super obvious, I know, but showering when you first wake up helps you feel awake and fills you with energy, it’s just a must!

10. Make plans for your day

My last tip is to make plans the day before to do something that you love. Something that’s going to motivate you to get out of bed! I do this all the time and I have noticed a difference in my energy levels and how fast I get out of bed.
